The Firm has an outstanding and settled experience in transactional work related to industrial logistic, packaging, storage and cargo handling, as well as in connection with consolidation and deconsolidation of cargo and intermodal shipments.

BTG offers a comprehensive service covering the full range of commercial contracts, transportation and trading arrangements. We deal with any civil and insurance law issue as well as in connection with administrative law issues related to port concessions and licensing processes.

We have always been traditionally involved in contract work  related to shipments of project cargo, particularly in the oil and gas industry, from Italy to the rest of the world, on behalf of a major foreign multinational corporation in Italy and on behalf of several other industry companies, operators and forwarders. The Firm assisted a major Italian forwarding company providing logistic and transportation services in the context of a large sub contract in Australia where 500 Km gas pipeline was laid in the ocean outside Darwin. We also advised a US multinational oli and gas company in transactional work related to the shipping portion of the Kashagan project.

The Firm has set up a task force within the Marine department  to supply a rapid and proactive response in any type of emergency where remedial actions and urgent court procedures are needed. BTG can assist in immediate casualty response at any time on any day of the year. This approach and expertise derives from our P&I’s correspondent vocation and experience.

The firm has experience in casualty investigations and management of collision cases and can assist any stakeholder in a casualty matter whether being the owners, cargo interests, contractors, public entities or salvors.

BTG has extensive experience in cargo recovery work relating to any form of transport. We offer a bespoke service in the legal assistance connected to road carriage issues, either domestic or CMR related, on behalf of Italian or foreign trucking and transport companies or in insurance recoveries related business on behalf of cargo underwriters and insurers.
