He handles insurance law, professional liability, medical liability, public authorities liability, and enforcement and bankruptcy proceedings. He has gained, in particular, consolidated experience in public authorities’ civil liability extrajudicial and judicial litigation management: he assists and advises in claim evaluation, including preparing reasoned opinions, drafting and settlement agreements.
He worked with Insurers, Insureds, Brokers and Settlement Companies, which together form Italian insurance mechanism of civil, professional, medical and health liability in Italy. He also deals with in and out-of-court litigation of diagnostic centers and private clinics, as well as with the financial liability of public entities (Provinces and Municipalities), providing assistance and advising externally or through in-house collaboration.
The attorney cooperates with settlement companies and their lawyers in claim evaluation, estimation of reserves, reasoned opinions and handling individual cases that require a settlement phase.

Professional experience
Lawyer Federico Russo joined the BTG firm in 2012, working in its Milan office (2015-2016) and the in the Livorno office.
Before BTG, he gained experience in one of the most important Italian administrative law firms, based in Florence.
He regularly attends courses and seminars related to non-pecuniary damage and medical liability. He takes part in training events and attends specialization courses in personal injury and health and professional liability.
Since May 2014, he has joined, the Observatory of Personal Injury at the Lider-lab department of the Scuola Superiore di Studi Universitari e di Perfezionamento Sant’Anna in Pisa. He also published in specialized journals, such as “Danno e Responsabilità” and “Rivista Italiana di Medicina Legale.”
