Information on the processing of personal data

The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to describe how the website www.btglegal.it is managed (hereinafter referred to as the “Site”) with reference to the processing of personal data of users.

This is a general disclosure made in compliance with art. 13 of Regulation (EU) 679/2016 concerning the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data, as well as the free circulation of such data (hereinafter “Regulation”) to all users who consult and, more generally, interact with the services rendered through the Site by the BTG LEGAL Studio Batini, Traverso, Grasso & Associati, with headquarters in via Borra no. 35, 57123 – Livorno (hereinafter: “The Controller” or “BTG LEGAL”).

In this Privacy Policy we will explain the purposes and the manner in which the Controller may collect and process his personal data, which categories of data are processed, which are the rights of data subjects and how they can be exercised.

The information is provided exclusively for this Site, therefore the Controller assumes no responsibility for the other websites that may be consulted via hyperlinks on the site. Data will be processed using computer and manual tools.

  1. Categories of personal data

1.1 Navigation Data
The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.

This is information that is not collected to be associated with identified interested parties, but which by their very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified.

This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users connecting to the site, the addresses in the Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) notation of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (success, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the operating system and the user’s computer environment.

These data are used for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and to check its correct functioning and are deleted immediately after processing. The data could be used to ascertain responsibility in case of hypothetical computer crimes against the site.

1.2 Data provided voluntarily by the user
Except as specified above in connection with the navigation data, BTG LEGAL will acquire any personal data provided by the user through the Website to make requests via e-mail. By way of example, the Site will acquire the name, surname, e-mail address and all the data in the curriculum you may send to BTG LEGAL.

Through the Website, the Data Controller will not acquire data of a sensitive nature or in any case belonging to the particular categories referred to in art. 9 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 or data relating to criminal convictions or offenses.

  1. Purpose and legal basis of the processing

The data indicated in paragraph 1 lett. b) will be processed by the Controller to respond to his requests and processed exclusively for that purpose.

2.1. In addition, personal data used for browsing the pages of the Site will be used to ascertain responsibility in case of information crimes;

2.2. to exercise the rights of the Controller as an exercise or defense of a right in court.

  1. Categories of subjects to whom personal data can be communicated and purposes of communication

The Data Controller may communicate, for the same purposes, some of his personal data also to third parties, who will process his personal data as Data Processors. The list of data processors may be requested from the Data Controller at any time.

  1. Period of data retention and duration of treatments

The duration of the storage of personal data for the purposes described in paragraph 2, is detailed in the register of treatments available from the Data Controller.

  1. Rights of the interested parties

We inform you that, in compliance with current Regulations, you have the following rights: requesting and obtaining information about the existence of your data in the availability of the Data Controller and access to such data; for data processed with automated systems, request the communication of their data and / or transfer to another holder; request and obtain the modification and / or correction of your personal data if you believe that they are inaccurate or incomplete; request and obtain the cancellation – and / or the limitation of processing – of your personal data if it is data or information not necessary – or no longer necessary – for the above purposes, then after the retention period indicated in the previous paragraph.

In particular, the following rights are recognized: art. 15 – “Right of rectification”, art. 17 – “Right to data processing”, art. 18 – “Right to data portability”, art. 20 – “Right to data portability” of the EU Regulation 2016/679 within the limits and under the conditions provided for by art. 12 of the same Regulation.

The Firm reserves the right to update this notice to adapt it to the surviving right. The changes will be reported on the present page of the Site.
